Named "Selpak" in 1970, upon the proposal of the mill employees, "Sel" comes from the word "selüloz", the Turkish spelling of "cellulose", which is the main raw material of paper and "pak" which means "clean" or "pure" in Turkish.

With a longstanding history and recognized as a generic name in the tissue paper industry in Turkey, Selpak, the continuous promoter of proper personal hygiene practices, has also succeeded at becoming a "lovemark". A brand that consistently introduced truly value adding products to consumers' lives, Selpak has the highest top of mind awareness and is regarded as being the most innovative, expert and preferred brand.

In addition to its dedicated customer satisfaction efforts, Selpak also supports sustainable forestry management policies.

We procure 100% of our cellulose from certified suppliers who can prove that their wood pulp derives from sustainably managed forests.

Also We use FSC Certified pulp The Forest Stewardship Council sets standards for responsible forest management. As the gold standard in forest certification, FSC is the only system supported by groups such as WWF, Sierra Club, Greenpeace, Natural Resources Defense Council and National Wildlife Federation. Today, more than 380 million acres of forest are certified under FSC’s system.
